Newington Green Meeting House will re-open to the public after extensive restorative build work. For the first time the building is open to the public with tours, developed and delivered by volunteers who can share with you the history, stories and people of the building and local area. Learn more about the building and its inhabitants’ radical history, pioneering architecture and revolutionary ideas.
Tours are approximately 30 minutes long and then you are free to explore the space, exhibitions and audio guide yourselves. The building is fully wheelchair accessible. Please help us cater the tour towards your interest and needs of the group by answering all the questions when booking.
From June 1st – September 1st you will be able to view the Cluster-Phobia exhibition and film screening across the entire building.
Due to the coronavirus (COVID 19), all tours will be socially distanced and tickets are limited to 6 people per tour. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for larger tours from one household. Please bring a face covering as these will be mandatory – and please follow the guidelines in place throughout the building.
Guided tours are available from June 1st 2021 on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 12pm and 2pm.
Please book your tour here:https://tours-of-ngmh.eventbrite.co.uk
If you are a congregant or aware of the history but just want to see the restored building/exhibition you can pop in between 10am – 4pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
We hope you enjoy the tour!
